Overview

Inca Jungle is not just a tour, it´s a great and unforgettable adventure during which you will experience different activities on completely new level. Descending from 3400 meters. With mountain bikes until 1500 meters below, also we share experience to sleeping with a local jungle family, all of this experience combine from zip lining to hiking through the Inca pathways. Finally ending in the unique Inca city MACHU PICCHU, situated on the top of the hill, surrounded by the mountains

Important:

The minimum to open the departure is two people and our maximum is eight so if you guys are two we can do it!
No permits required for this trek – so pick any date during the year and contact us.

Itinerary

First Day: Cusco (3350m asl) > Santa Maria (1250m asl) – Biking (Rafting optional)

We will pick you up from your hotel at 6:30am to leave by bus for an approx. 90 minute ride through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, passing through Chinchero, Urubamba, and Ollantaytambo Where we’ll take a 15 minute break then head to the Puerto Malaga Pass (4350m asl.) From there, we’ll traverse the pass by bike towards the village of Wamanmarca (3 hours.) During the ride, we’ll experience the beauty of the mountains and cloud forests. The climate will quickly change from cold and dry to hot and humid. After the bike ride, we’ll take a transport to the town of Santa Maria, where you’ll have the option of doing an extra rafting tour (not included on the Vilcanota River $30.00. (Lunch, Dinner, Hostal is included.)

Second Day: Santa Maria (1250m asl) > Santa Teresa (1540m asl) – Trekking

At 6:30 in the morning, after a delicious breakfast, we’ll begin our first day of hiking to the cloud forest. The first 3 hours of the trek will be uphill. During this time, we’ll see plantations for coca, coffee, cocoa, and typical tropical fruits of the region. We’ll also make several stops, one of which will be at the house of the Pispitayoq family, where we’ll rest for about 20 minutes. Later, we’ll cross the famous Inca Trail with magnificent views of the valley we’re going to hike through. Past the Inca Trail will be very easy going, with about 90 minutes more until we reach Qellomayu, the place where we’ll have lunch. Afterwards, we’ll continue along the banks of the Vilcanota River for about 3 more hours, later crossing the river via a monkey bridge. Finally, after approximately 7 – 8 hours of hiking, we’ll arrive at the Cocalmayo Hot Springs, and later at the town of Santa Teresa (1540m asl.) (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Hostal.)

Third Day: Santa Teresa (1540m asl) > Aguas Calientes (2000m asl) – Trekking (Zip-line optional)

Breakfast at 7am. Before the hike, you’ll have the option to do zip-lining (not included.) We’ll start the trek with 3 hours of hiking on an unpaved trail. Our lunch will be near a hydroelectric plant. Afterwards, we’ll spend another 3 hours hiking alongside railroad tracks, observing the flora and fauna of the area. The Machu Picchu site can also be seen in the distance. That night, we’ll stay in a hostal with private bathrooms and hot water. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Hostal.)

Fourth Day:

Early in the morning we take the bus from the town of Aguas Calientes to the archaeological site of Machu Picchu. We have the opportunity to climb the difficult path to the top of the Huayna Picchu mountain, which offers spectacular and different views, it is even possible to see the Apu Salkantay.
The tour of Machu Picchu allows us to appreciate the high level of development achieved by Andean civilization through the Incas.

Huaynapicchu Climbing .- You need to book in advance too as the Inca trail because it has a limit capacity of 400 people per day which is divided in to 2 shifts. The first shift is at 7 am, and the second one at 10 am, each shift allows 200 people.

The climb is 50 minutes to an hour, it is a bit narrow but safe, the view of Machu picchu is breathtaking,The sun gate, Urubamaba valley and river.The Price is $70 us dollars.

The night before your trek there will be a pre-trek talk (briefing) in our office or in your hotel (exact time will be confirmed on arrival to Cusco).

To get the student discount, please send us a scan of both sides of your student card through email at the time you wish to reserve your spot. The only one Accepted by Peruvian Government is the International ISIC card.

With Western Union, you can send and get money quickly at any of our 117.000 agents or offices all over the world. Check on internet www.westernunion.com look for the nearest office of Western Union, ask for International sendings cashier, then you will get a form and you have to fill it in.
Complete the form.
Ensure you get the form to fill it in.
The payement is in american dollars and write the amount in letters.
Then write in numbers the amount you will send.
